A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of checking out Atelier Minyon’s showroom. The jewelry is both magical and illuminating with dark and otherworldly motifs. Mermaids, skeletal birds, a ram’s head, snakes, and evil eyes. What I like best of all is that Minyon’s work isn’t solely spooky or witchy, but instead conveys a magnitude sense of beauty and femininity juxtaposed against the dark and gritty. The results are startling and evocative. Not to mention, these jewelry pieces seem to have me written all over it.
