This is a little bit of an oldie but a goodie. In an effort to mix up my love for black clothing, I tested out some metallic jeans. And honey, I am in love. Who doesn’t want to look like a backup dancer for Ziggy Stardust?

I love my $20 Zennioptical glasses more than life itself. Well, in all seriousness, this is just a casual outfit for a week day of puttering around and enjoying some time off of work. Nothing to see here.

I have a not-so-secret confession: I love stockings. Patterned ones even more. They dress up any outfit and these Wolford numbers are no exception. Dark purple with flowers on the calf and with a backseam? Oh, honey, I’m in love.

If you haven’t guessed by now, my style can sometimes be a play on a ballerina—or in this case, a skater style dress—gone bad.

Okay, I totally admit it: once in a while I wish I was a teenager again. No, not for high school classes or tawdry proms. I want to get away with wearing these Doc Marten babies. Sanrio! On my shoes! Docs made the grade with the punky and sweet mix but still hard enough to pair with short skirts and a bad attitude. Or, could I get away with these as a somewhat cynical 25 year old? Give me your thoughts, dear readers.

With the impending blizzard on the prowl today, all I want to do is curl up with hot chocolate, shearling slippers, a thick book, and an awesome blanket.
