Little Flower

{ May 18, 2014 }

Phillip Lim for Target dress; H&M motorcycle jacket; LA Fenice sandals;
Anthropologie sunglasses.

Can we talk about how awesome this floral print Phillip Lim for Target dress is? I bought this dress on a whim and wore it once and never thought much of it. A few months later, I can’t get enough of it.

The pink hair? Don’t be fooled - it’s a Ricky’s hair extension. It’s so much fun to play around with other hair colors, without the commitment.

Hi sweets! Recuperating from a sprain keeps me under the rader lately. Here’s some little glimpses on what I’ve been up to via my Instagram. (@kitschy_

I’m not planning regular weekly recaps (bo-ring). Though, if you’re curious about the more personal side of things in my life, feel free to wander over.

1. I get bored at train stations. Hello, feet.
2. Greenpoint’s The Habitat makes the best shrimp & grits ever. Now only if it was a regular item on the menu…
3. Getting back into the fiction writing groove. The Kate Spade bag is the perfect size for whatever notebook I’m toting around.
4. I may love to dress up but I love wearing this Motorhead tee just as much.
5. Tattoos prints in Oak & Iron.
6. A singular daisy, so beautiful.
7. Oh, New York.
8. Delicious. Healthy. Salad.
9. Playing around with a fishtail braid.

Wishlist Wednesday: Spring Flowers

I’m usually not one to fawn over flowery prints - they’re usually a little off putting for me. Though, I’ve been coming around a bit and here’s some items that I dig.

1. Chain Flower Betsey Dress, $50
2. Valentino Skirt, $1,140
3. Robbi & Nikki Ombre Tank, $165
4. Mokara necklace, $54 (made with a real orchid!)
5. Flower Wayfarers, $145

Venus Zine gives a run down of the latest floral inspired looks. I’m feeling it, reminds me of Chloe Sevigny’s partnership with Opening Ceremony (see image below).

Now, let’s all put on some daisy-inspired Doc Martens (Remember those? My sister had a pair! I was the plain black leather kind of girl).
