I’m drawn to all things heart shaped. Usually it is to off-set my darker and hard-edged penchants (black, studs, spikes, red lipstick). There is something delectable and mystical about hearts. They represent us, the idea of love & romance, happiness, hope, and power within us. It’s no wonder that I’ve been harping on this motif for years now. I remember when personal websites were all hip and the thing to do when I was a teen, the first domain my friend hosted me at was called heart-shaped.net. (Hi Judi!) Needless to say, my obsession with hearts has lasted me for ages!
