Drool Worthy Spring Jewelry

image

Spring time always inspires me to pick up a new little somethin’ somethin’. A shiny new bauble or two. My tastes tend to veer over to minimal but with a twist. Think skinny cuffs, vibrant but classic studs, cheeky little pieces, or arty.

  1. Joomi Lim Single Row Spiked Bracelet, $106. I love the contrast from the brass spikes.
  2. Dalaga Tunnel Gold Plated Bar Bracelet, $9
  3. Of a Kind Rose Mini Zigzag Cuff, $110
  4. Catbird Cat Face Studs, $28. My sister would be keen on these cats.
  5. Lila Rice Brass Hoops, $76
  6. MyJewelryBox Princess Cut Diamond Solitaire Stud, $299. I’m all over the minimal and classic look diamond studs radiate. For more styles and cuts, look here
  7. Dalaga Great Pyramid 24k Plated Ring, $38
  8. Catbird Ampersand Ring, $96. So darling that I can’t even stand it.
  9. Pamela Love Phase Ring, $115. Minimal but powerful.
  10. Vera Meat Knife Please, $98
  11. W/A Studios Teal Taj Necklace, $195
  12. Vera Meat Ship Helm Necklace, $88

Lately, I am drawn to light prints like a moth to a flame.* The eye catching print always strikes me as “mellow futuristic.” Add a sleek ponytail into the mix, and there’s my outfit.

* While that simile may be on the more glamorous side, the reality of it is that I’m crazy for it like my dog’s obsession with anything bacon flavored.

nOir earrings

Wandering around Chinatown with two of my loveliest girlfriends is a fun and spontaneous weekend activity. There are so many hidden gems! A few cups of almond bubble tea, some adventures, and my [new] favorite rockabilly cardigan made the perfect low key Saturday…

A little style resolution I made to myself this year is to spice up my wardrobe and add some fun twists. So, I went the vintage inspired route and fell in love with this cardigan. It makes me feel like I should be crooning in a song with Les Paul. The embroidered roses are perfect for jazzing up my jeans and tee weekend uniform, but I think the sweater will also look bangin’ with an a-line dress.

Holy smokes! I haven’t done an outfit post since April and I am long overdue, no? Getting glitzed up to look at smoking hot jewelry is the only way to go and that’s exactly what I did. And of course, having fun with friends in Soho after dark.
