Weekend Casual

{ April 19, 2014}

Tobi shirt; H&M motorcycle jacket and jeans; Mini Mini Market sunglasses & bag; nOir ring; Forever 21 flats.

On warm days, I love to dash out the door with my favorite moto jacket and grab an iced tea from Ovenly and a sea salt chocolate chip cookies. Then, I wander over to Transmitter Park to do some people (and dog!) watching and stare dreamily at the skyline. Read a book, write a little poem, these are my favorite kinds of lazy weekend afternoons.

Top: BCBG
Vest: Forever 21
Jeans: Lucky Brand
Shoes: Zara
Necklace: House of Harlow

A few years ago in grad school, I remarked to a girlfriend that I always admired her style. It was simple but not bland and always on point. Yet there was always something bubbly about her. She remarked, that she based most of her wardrobe around black and white with pops of color here and there. So, this is my — years later — interpretation of my friend and colleague, J. Black, white, and one eye opening shock of something metallic.

I’ve been itching to wear these rose gold jeans since Christmas when I bought them on a mega sale. And with spring finally here, I had to break out the pink gold.¬†

Three of a Kind: Studded Leather Bracelet

It’s no surprise: you all know I’m in total stud lust. So, I couldn’t help myself and made another little ditty on my favorite accessory. This time it’s the minimalist-but-packs-a-punch-bracelet.

Three different prices, for all budgets.

1. Tie Dye Wrapped Bracelet, $55
2. Skinny Cuff with Gold Pyramid Studs, $25
3. Paint Splatter Studded Bracelet, $6

Wishlist Wednesday: Studs

I just adore studs - they’re magnificent and they remind me a bit of myself. Maybe it was listening to so much punk rock and studding my own jackets and clothes when I was younger. Still, I’m always looking for a little something to make an outfit feel more complete or more like me. I’ve still got a love for all that looks rough and tough.

1. Studded Knit Tunic, $19.80
2. Pyramid Bucket Bag, $93
3. 2 Row Pyramid Bracelet, $3.95
4. Sleeveless Top With Gold Studs, $375
