Photo Diary // Three Things

With the weather slowly coming around, I’m starting to venture outdoors again. What a bitter winter. I’m so happy to see it go.

1. Tried a new coffee shop in my ‘hood. Konditori is a new favorite.
2. Twirling around in a star print dress. Instead of looking windswept, I looked windblown.
3. Abraham Lincoln street art to the max.

Photo Diary // Instagram Trinkets

Hi sweets! Recuperating from a sprain keeps me under the rader lately. Here’s some little glimpses on what I’ve been up to via my Instagram. (@kitschy_

I’m not planning regular weekly recaps (bo-ring). Though, if you’re curious about the more personal side of things in my life, feel free to wander over.

1. I get bored at train stations. Hello, feet.
2. Greenpoint’s The Habitat makes the best shrimp & grits ever. Now only if it was a regular item on the menu…
3. Getting back into the fiction writing groove. The Kate Spade bag is the perfect size for whatever notebook I’m toting around.
4. I may love to dress up but I love wearing this Motorhead tee just as much.
5. Tattoos prints in Oak & Iron.
6. A singular daisy, so beautiful.
7. Oh, New York.
8. Delicious. Healthy. Salad.
9. Playing around with a fishtail braid.

Black & White

Top: Romeo & Juliet
Skirt: Dorothy Perkins
Tights: Hue
Heels: 3.1 Phillip Lim (via Otte)
Rings: Made Her Think & MoMA
Bracelet: Forever 21

Black and white is one of my favorite palettes to use. Crisp, clean and classic but never dull. I picked this blouse because the cut out back adds a little bit of surprise on an otherwise standard shirt. Though, the real kicker here is that I may be falling dangerously in love with these 3.1 Phillip Lim black and white heels… I mean, could I ask for anything more minimalist and beautiful?
